Marine Dupuis Baudrillard is a journalist (TV and magazine), artistic director, and scuba-diving instructor. She met Jean Baudrillard in 1970 when she arrived at the University of Paris-Nanterre. She was 25 years old and was just back from a sailing trip around the world. They got married in 1994.
